BIO

      Adrienne Woods grew up in a musical family in the small southern town Florence, South Carolina. She started playing the cello at age four, along with sibling Chris Woods on violin. They were constantly surrounded by classical music and formed a piano quartet with Sherry Woods on viola and Benjamin Woods on piano. She moved after attending the University of South Carolina, where she studied with cellist Robert Jesselson and jazz instructor Bert Ligon, to hone her craft in Los Angeles. The Henry Mancini Institute introduced her to many other styles of music and musicians.

As she began to gain accolades for playing with many artists and groups, she also began to explore songwriting and composition by recording her first rock album. The album Day and Night debuted in 2008, and features her vocals, playing several instruments, as well as the talents of many other amazing musicians. This album chronicles her experiences through life and and love in a lush live rock musical experience. 
     Since being in Los Angeles, Adrienne has played studio work, orchestral works, television shows, played remote sessions, and toured with many star artists. She has played on the Tonight show, with Shaggy, Faith Evans, Frankie J, Clay Aiken, Josh Groban, and Michael Buble , Halle x Chloe, and Mariah Carey. She has also been on the American Music Awards with Josh Groban, the Grammys with Lady Gaga, BET Awards with The Game, Ludacris and Mary J Blige. She has also been featured in and recorded several music videos from Josh Groban, Kanye West, Rod Stewart, Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani and more. 

Adrienne has performed with multiple shows in the house band from American Idol, BET Awards, the Voice, The Oscars, and Lady Gaga Jazz and piano. 

She also performed the AMAs with Pink an the CNN tribute to heroes with Christina Aguilera. Adrienne has done days of filming cello on the show Glee, Boston Public, How I met your Mother, the movie A Star Is Born, and many other performances. She has toured with the Jonas Brothers, John Legend, Ariana Grande, and Adele and more recently with the artist FKJ. She continues to play with many star and local artists while developing her own music writing and performances as well.
